Hi there!
Here’s the short story: I’m Jay Vessels. I live with my wife Gina, our daughter Julia, and our three cats in Lexington, Kentucky. I work for Lexmark International as an inkjet firmware engineering team lead developing consumer inkjet printers. I play guitar, fix / restore / hotrod automobiles, fix / build electronics, work with wood, and have a thousand other minor hobbies I won’t bother to mention.
Just for grins, I thought I’d scan in my passport photo. My manager told me the first day I was a full-time employee (after working as a student for three years) to get my passport. I’ve used it to go to Seoul, South Korea twice, Taiwan several times, China several times, Japan once, and Milan, Italy once. No, it’s not a great picture, but I’ll get around to making a page of pictures of Gina and myself later. Meanwhile, in case you’ve ever wondered what a hillbilly/redneck firmware engineer from Kentucky looks like, well here’s your answer.
